My aunt June has always occupied a special place in my heart. I shall remember my aunt June for: her joyous sense of humour and laughs we shared; the way that she seemed so much younger than her age because of her enduring “young at heart” outlook on life; her glass “half full” attitude to life’s challenges and ability to put a positive spin on issues. It has been truly inspirational; the way she played down her own problems; our exchange of texts about various films we had seen; her kindness; her unforgettable laugh; her “pompey” accent; her trifles. No-one made them like June and always insisted that I had a second helping. June will be greatly missed but never forgotten. au revoir. Mike xxxx
